While most of you know that PlayStation Eye is being bundled with The Eye of Judgment game, I also wanted to let you know it’ll be out on store shelves as a stand-alone product, too. Hope this helps someone! If anybody has ideas about how to make the camera work in all apps without Man圜am or how to get the microphones working I'd love to hear them.As many of you probably know, PlayStation Eye is coming, so I wanted to share a little bit about what that means for all you video-bloggers, gamers and would-be-actors and directors out there. Unfortunately it seems the microphones don't work at all, but I already had another mic so this wasn't an issue for me. Drawbacks are that your camera is always on when Man圜am is running and you get a Man圜am watermark on your image. Man圜am can use the ps3 eye camera and create a virtual webcam that other apps can access. There is a workaround however, using Man圜am. Even with the commercial driver most apps don't see the camera. I've had some limited success getting these cameras working with other apps.
This one worked with Zoom for me, which should serve most remote work needs (no microphone however): īe aware that the CLEyeDriver is commercial - they ask you to pay $2.99 I think and it *does not* work with most apps. There's a list of various drivers here: (Windows)) The available drivers are also old and don't appear to work with most apps in Win10. Unfortunately these are very old cameras. I had a couple laying around from an old project and decided to try to use one as a webcam to work remotely with my team. You can however still buy old PS3 Eye cameras for < $10 on ebay! They are 720p, the quality is more than good enough for video conferencing. Price gouging has them over $200 for a $30 cam. With the pandemic on and everybody remote working there's been a run on webcams. Hide Flairs Show Flairs Hide Help Posts.Need help with a post? Have a question about a removal? Let us know!
